The way to geothermal heating
Step 1 : Information
The decision for the heating-system for your home is a long term decision. Adequate information should be the base for it. We recommend own research in internet or by energy saving agencies at the beginning. Later on, we support you with all information and consultancy services needed.
Step
2 : Pre-planning
When your research finally comes to a decision, we would be pleased to prepare an free and non-commital offer for you. The offer will contain an general examination of adequacy for geothermal extraction of your site and a pre-dimensioning of the geothermal probes. Also our collaborating companies, that will provide the "hardware" will be named. In acompanying meetings, all consultancy services, provided by us, will be explained.
Step
3 : Dimensioning and permission monitoring
After your decision for a collaboration with us, the planning phase, basing on the pre-dimensioning, begins. Necessary is a geological survey and a review pf the usage history of the site. Besides the dimensioning and planning reports, these data is needed for the license request to the local authorities and for bid invitations to the drilling companies.
Step
4: Planning of field work
Depending on the time-schedule of your building project, the field works for installing the geothermal probes will be terminated in collaboration with your architects and construction companies. The critical points are few because the drilling works normally take place outside of the building in construction. Things to be organized are for example the site access, the supply with water and electricity and the disposal of the drilling mud.
Step
5 : Installation of geothermal probes
The installation of the geothermal probes will be performed with a mobile drilling equipment within 2 - 5 days obeying the german rules for the extraction ofgeothermal energy (VDI 4640 , Thermal use of underground). As an example, all tubes of the probes have to be delivered pre-converted and pressure proven to the site to avoid (unsecure) assembly works on the site.
Step
6 : Installation of the heat-pump
The installation of the heat-pump is compareable in its complexity to a normal heating system. Connection works to a chimney or installation of oil-tanlks and -tubes are not necessary.
Step
7 : Acceptance of the system
Before the take-over by the owner, all pressure- and functional-testings will be performed and documented. The acceptance will be completed with the handover of all documents to the owner |
